Swipey AI Charge on Your Card? What It Is and What to Do

A charge that mentions Swipey AI and/or Nicosia, Cyprus is a payment to Swipey AI, an AI companion app run by INVAI LTD in Nicosia. It is usually Premium ($7.99 a month) or a one-off hearts purchase. What is Swipey AI?

Swipey AI is a web-based AI companion app. Adults 18+ create an AI girlfriend, chat with her, and ask for photos and short generated video clips. It runs in a browser on any device and can be installed to the home screen. It is free to start. Every character on Swipey is AI, and the app is for adults 18+ only.

Why a Swipey AI charge mentions Nicosia

Swipey AI is operated by INVAI LTD, which is registered in Nicosia, Cyprus. That is why a Swipey AI Nicosia charge can show the city or country on your statement. If your card is in another currency, your bank may also show a converted amount and its own foreign transaction fee.

There are two kinds of Swipey payment:

• Premium. A subscription at $7.99 a month. It renews each month until you cancel.
• Hearts. Swipey's in-app currency, bought as one-off purchases. Hearts pay for extra media and for gifts in Live Duels.

A charge that repeats on about the same day each month points to Premium. A charge on its own, at a different amount, points to a hearts purchase.

How to check your Swipey account

1. Find the account. Search your email inbox for "Swipey" to see which address was used to sign up.
2. Sign in at Swipey with that email.
3. Check Premium. Open your account's subscription settings to see whether Premium is active.
4. Check hearts. If Premium is not active, the charge is most likely a hearts purchase.
5. Match the date. Compare the charge date with when you, or someone using your device, last bought something.

If you still cannot match it, email hello@swipey.ai. Include the date of the charge, the amount, and the email on the account if you know it.

How to cancel Swipey Premium

Premium is month to month, and you can cancel anytime. Cancel from your account's subscription settings. If you cannot find the option, or you are not sure it worked, email hello@swipey.ai and ask support to confirm the cancellation and what happens to the rest of the current month.

Cancelling Premium stops future renewals. Hearts are one-off purchases, so there is nothing to cancel for them.

Swipey AI refund questions

For any refund question, contact hello@swipey.ai with:

• the date of the charge,
• the amount,
• the email on the account.

Support can see which purchase a charge was for, so this is often the quickest way to an answer. Your rights with your own bank are not affected.

If you do not recognise the charge at all

1. Ask at home. Check whether someone in your household used your card, or a device where your card is saved.
2. Search your email for "Swipey" in case you signed up and forgot.
3. Contact Swipey at hello@swipey.ai with the date and amount.
4. Contact your bank if nobody you know made the purchase. Your bank can block the card and explain your options.

Staying safe

• Never share card details in chats, including chats with an AI character or duel room chat.
• Do not send your full card number or security code by email to anyone. Start with the date, the amount and your account email.
• Pay only through the checkout inside Swipey.
• If a child or teen in your home may use your card, lock it down: Swipey is for adults 18+ only.
